TESSA STETTER
My Name is Tessa Stetter, I am a passionate natural dyer and fashion designer, based in Flensburg, Germany. Playing with different colors and patterns has always been the core of my creative essence. I adore the process of combining hues and finding a way in which they blend into a harmonious symphony of shades. During my fashion design studies I discovered the world of natural dyes and ever since then I fell in love with the process of natural dyeing.
Since 2021 I am focusing on the topic natural dyeing. Through research and countless color experiments I have developed a big knowledge, fueled by insatiable curiosity for plants and colors. Natural dyeing, for me, is a sacred collaboration with Mother Nature, a partnership that ignites my soul and fuels my artistic spirit. When dyeing with natural materials nature sets the pace on how fast you can work, which I love about the dye process.
Driven by my love for natural dyes, I have launched my own label, as a vessel through which I can share my passion and knowledge to others during workshop sessions. The aim is to pass on the fascination for natural colors and to share my experiences. Seeing the participants individual creativity develop during my workshops and their personal interpretation of dye techniques is truly amazing and exciting to watch.
You can book your own workshop via mail. I am prepared to guide you through a journey into the world of natural dyes, whether in English, German or Spanish. As there is a big variety of different techniques, I can personalize my workshops and host them for people in different age ranges. With my equipment I am also mobile and happy to host your personalized workshop in your preferred location whether it is at your home or your event location.
